There have been many techniques and suggestions presented about how best to protect your energy. We all know how it feels when an energy that is not in sync with ours enters our space. For many people, entering areas where there are a variety of energy signatures – for instance a grocery store – is very difficult.
I would like to add my suggestion. This was a long standing issue for me but, with this particular practice and using the belief work of Theta Healing, it has improved dramatically.
First, consider downloading some beliefs and feelings such as:
- I am impervious to negative energies.
- I know what it feels like to be impervious to negative energies.
- I am impervious to the adverse effects of energies not in sync with my own.
- I know what it feels like to be impervious to the adverse effects of energies not in sync with my own.
- My vibration is capable of raising the vibration of others with grace and ease.
- I know what it feels like to be capable of raising the vibration of others with grace and ease.
- I am willing to accept my ability to raise the vibration of others.
- I am willing to accept my ability to protect my energetic signature.
- I am willing to accept others for who and what they are in any given moment.
There are, of course, others that may be needed specifically for you. However, if you would like to start with these and have them flow to you from the Divine spirit of all, say “yes” now. Now, to the protection visualization. Center yourself in whatever way is most comfortable for you. Take several deep breaths and allow your consciousness to go deep within the earth. Feel the groundedness of being connected to the earth. Feel that connectedness rise up and enter your body through your feet rising up to your heart. Ask the Divine to send a beautiful white energy of protection to you. See it enter the crown chakra and flow throughout every cell of your body, anchoring in the heart. Feel that protective light energy expand within every cell. See the light from each cell grow until all the protective light merges, surrounding you in a beautiful haze of bright protective light. Expand this light out from your body to whatever distance feels comfortable. Decide what you want that energy to project about you. Perhaps you would like that energy to project love, peace, joy, and power laced with gentleness. Feel those qualities infuse the light until there is no distinction between them. Know that you are protected by this Divine light and by your own power and intent. Give gratitude for this gift.
There are those who would prefer shielding of the energetic core. However, that feels limiting to me. That is exclusion instead of inclusion. When you expand the light outward with the intent of protection, you are providing the space to be able to raise the vibration of others. Science has proven that energy will vibrate to the highest rhythm (my unscientific way to present a scientific concept). Therefore, if you are living your life with integrity and authenticity, your energetic vibration has the potential to help others just by your presence. When you add intent to that mix, you have a winner in my thinking.
So, see if this resonates with you. You may feel that you need shielding and layers. But, maybe you don’t. I would also suggest that you try this out in situations where you already feel comfortable and gradually expand. I wouldn’t suggest going to the mall to try this the first time. It may work for you but, you may need to feel comfortable with it first. At first it may help to visualize the expanded light throughout the day or when you go out. But, eventually, you will just trust it is there doing what you intended it to do and you will find such freedom and a wonderful sense of joy that you can help others just by being you.
